Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-31

1. What this service does

You set a daily deadline and a fee. When you miss the deadline, we charge that fee to the payment method you saved on file.

The mechanic is the whole product: a small, real consequence rewires how seriously your brain treats your own promises. Pain drives change.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older to use GrowOrPay. One account per person.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service — for example, repeated chargebacks against legitimate charges, signing up multiple accounts to game the system, or attempting to circumvent the payment flow.

3. The fee

You choose the fee yourself (subject to a small minimum that varies by currency to cover Stripe processing). By saving a payment method and committing, you authorize us to charge that fee via Stripe whenever a deadline is missed.

The charge is not a service fee. It is your own money returning to you in the form of pain avoidance. We never profit from your failures — see section 4 for how we actually make money.

4. How we make money

Voluntary tips. There is no subscription, no upcharge on the fee, and no ads anywhere.

We may add optional tips or donations later, but they will always be optional and always clearly labelled as such. If you ever see a charge from us you didn't authorize, it's a bug — email support@groworpay.com.

5. Refunds

If a charge happened in error — a network blip, an app malfunction, you tapped YES but it didn't register — we refund it automatically to the same Stripe customer.

If you spot a charge you think was wrong and we missed it, open a dispute via support@groworpay.com. We review disputes within 7 days and refund anything we can't justify.

6. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

You must settle any outstanding balance before deleting — see section 7. We may terminate accounts for abuse (fraudulent chargebacks, payment fraud, or repeated terms violations).

7. Outstanding debt

If a charge fails — declined card, expired card, insufficient funds — your account enters a locked state. You can't start a new commitment until you settle the outstanding amount by updating your payment method and retrying the charge.

We never sell debt and we never use collections agencies. If you walk away, the worst that happens is you can't use GrowOrPay until you come back and settle.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for missed deadlines caused by outages, bugs, your device's notification settings, OS-level battery restrictions, or anything else outside our direct control.

We do our best to keep the service up and the notifications reliable — and we publish a status page if there's an incident that materially affects the deadline flow.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, where the operator is based — GrowOrPay (operated by Antonio Ridiche, Bucharest, Romania; contact: support@groworpay.com) — unless your local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, in which case those rights apply.

Nothing in these terms is intended to waive a non-waivable consumer right under your local law.

10. Contact

Anything that doesn't fit a form — questions, disputes, requests, complaints: support@groworpay.com. A real person reads the inbox.
